Pau Airport Access

The following car hire companies have desk at Pau Airport:

Alamo

Avis *

Europcar

Hertz **

National/Citer

Sixt

You can hire direct from one of the companies above or with AutoEurope - for pick-up location use 'PUF'.

Generally speaking car hire companies are open for regularly scheduled arriving and departing flights. That doesn't mean they are closed at other times. Just that if you come on a regularly scheduled flight you should find car hire companies open.

If you're a non-EU citizen or EU citizen living outside the EU and traveling for more than 17 days, then you should think about a Buy Back car, as it can be cheaper than car hire. The idea is simple, you buy a brand new Peugeot, drive it during your vacation and then when you're done you sell the car back. For more information see Buy Back Cars with Peugeot.

* Avis refers to Pau Airport as 'Pau D'Huzein Airport'.
** Hertz refers to Pau Airport as 'Pau Pyrenees Airport'.
